How Dare You!! – Daily Word November 30, 2010

Happy Travel Tuesday! Today is the day that all travel agencies give you big discounts on their travel packages…. Haaaa!! Just joking!! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to what you dare to do! Life is about taking chances, its about taking risk for what’s important in life! Its about living to the fullest and not letting anything stop you! If life was meant to be safe it would of come with a manual! Instead it comes with an opportunity to be whatever you want to be! The choice is yours! If you want to be mediocre, regular, or great! There’s an app for that! Stop being afraid to live! Go out on a limb! Be Daring! Be Brave!! Be Courageous!!!! Playing it safe will put you through more misery than you can imagine! Its like taking a pain killer every time you have a migraine instead of getting to the root cause of it… Eventually the migraine will Kill you!!! Stop playing it safe and stop the temporary relief! Find your ailment and get to work!! Dare to be who you were meant to be!!
-Ash’Cash

Don’t be Fooled!! – Daily Word November 29, 2010

Good morning my good people today’s Daily Word is dedicated to using your wisdom! I was told that today is Cyber Monday??? A day where most online retailers place items on sale with the hopes that they create a second consecutive buying day (Black Friday)! Catching deals on sale is a great idea but make sure you are NOT being fooled into spending money you don’t have! Create a budget and allocate what you can AFFORD (first things first) to shopping but don’t spend blindly! Most of us already know this but because of the media, our friends, family, and emotions we tend to not go with what we know! This is exactly what happens in life to our goals and aspirations! Instead of following our instincts and going after what we know is right we allow outside influences to dictate what we do and when we do it!! DON’T BE FOOLED!! Your win is in the bag!! Use your experience as a guide but use your heart as the compass! It will tell you what you need to be doing! All you have to do is DO IT!! Stop giving others so much control!! THE POWER IS YOUR IF YOU USE IT!!
-Ash’Cash

“The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.
-Bertrand Russell

“He dares to be a fool, and that is the first step in the direction of wisdom.”
-James Gibbons Huneker

“Craziness is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result”
-Tom DeMarco

“Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find ”tomorrow” on the calendars of fools.”
-Og Mandino

“My past is my wisdom to use today. . . my future is my wisdom yet to experience. Be in the present because that is where life resides.
-Gene Oliver

“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”
-Confucius

“The road of life twists and turns and no two directions are ever the same. Yet our lessons come from the journey, not the destination.”

Ask Ash’Cash – Q: I pay everything in cash! What’s the advantages to having a bank account?

Q: I pay everything in cash! What’s the advantages to having a bank account?

A: While you may have your reasons; not having a bank account is costing you more than you even realize. Did you know on average those who don’t use financial services pay close to $700 a year just to cash checks and pay over 380% in interest when they need to borrow money. And that is not a typo! People who don’t have bank accounts and need to borrow money usually go to payday lenders who give you a small loan and charge you about 15% of your outstanding loan every two weeks. That means if you borrow $1,000 by the time you pay it all back you would have spent $3,800!! RIDICULOUS!! Solution: Put Money in the Bank!! Having a bank account can save you money and give you access to much needed financial advice. Opening an account is simple. If you do it online it is as simple as filling out an application, and signing the documents. If you rather do it face-to-face you will need two pieces of I.D.; a primary w/ photo and a secondary. A primary I.D. can be any state or government issued I.D. (Yes that can include a Jail I.D. or benefit card). A secondary I.D. can be proof of address, a bank statement, credit card or debit card. Unfortunately a birth certificate and/or social security card is not considered I.D. for banking purposes if you are over 18. Once you have your I.D.’s, an account can be opened with as little as $25 and in most cases less than that if you agree to do some sort of direct deposit i.e.; your pay check, SSI, or child support.
